If you are planning to order the much talked about BSNL tablet model TPAD IS701R, popularly known as the 'Rs 3200 BSNL tablet' then be prepared to shed more, as after price revision, the tablet will cost Rs 3,999. Previously, the Pantel tablet came at a price of Rs 3,499 along with the special BSNL data plan. Without the BSNL data plan, the TPAD IS701R was priced at Rs 3,250. We have already started with the delivery process and lined up customers can expect the tablet to be delivered within two months. As far as the price is concerned, it is revised to Rs 3,999 with BSNL data plan and Rs 3,749 without BSNL connection respectively,” said Nishant Mishra, marketing head, Pantel Technologies.

“The buyer has to make the payment via bank transaction at any of the branches of Punjab National Bank. The payment mode will be direct cash deposit or through cheque using a filled Challan. There is a transaction fee of Rs 25 which is to be added to the booking amount. Customers are required to make the payment only when they receive a pre-booking order number via e-mail. After the money is deposited against a particular order number, we will confirm it with the bank and the product delivery process will begin within 48 hours of payment confirmation,” added Mishra. 

Also note that there is an additional shipping charge of Rs 175 to Rs 250, depending on the courier service, applicable for all deliveries. Customers will have to pay the amount directly to the delivery agent from the parcel service.
